Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using an application that allows you to save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also adjust the suction power, and how much water your mop consumes.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles prevents it from running over furniture, wires, or stray toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it naturally comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep in a single session, and it can even raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any robot vacuum we have examined so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it becoming stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also has an automatic mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can just set it and forget it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the cost we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also includes a smart, app-enabled controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. Additionally the mops aren't adept at removing staining that is as strong as those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that will clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet mess, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it goes and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean in order to rinse off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water, and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning products.
Like many robots, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum, but it still has some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've created. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the area.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized way. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra.
